5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Potter Lawson, Inc.
749 University Row, Suite 300
Madison, WI 53705

Please join us on March 17th as Don Menefee with Tremco CPG leads us in a discussion on real world challenges experienced during building construction, including issues being seen in the field on component (panelized) construction.  We are looking for participation from across the design and construction spectrum (and spirited input), so please feel free to forward this invitation to your contractor, design, and owner partners.  All are welcome.

Challenging Building Enclosure Connections:  A “Real World” Discussion

This presentation/discussion will offer details and actual field photos of current solutions targeting critical connections affecting air and water performance.

 Topics to include the following:

  • Connections at parapet, window-to-wall, expansion joints
  • Connections for off-site (panelized) wall construction
  • Discussing critical questions:  adhesion, compatibility, movement, sequence

Discussion from attendees will be encouraged.

The meeting will be held at the offices of Potter Lawson, 749 University Row, Suite 300 in Madison. This event is sponsored by Potter Lawson.  Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Please register by Friday, March 13th at noon for an accurate headcount, although registration will remain open until the day of the event.

When arriving for the event, take the elevator to the third floor and turn left off the elevators.

Because of the nature of this discussion, it is not being submitted for AIA credit.

BONUS Discussion:  For those following the questions surrounding CSI's new Dynamic Standards, we can have a brief discussion following the regular meeting. We hope to have updates from CSI National prior to this event.
